The Linear Phase Filter

Similar to a Bessel filter in that the emphasis is on keeping the group delay flat. However a phase riple is introduced in the pass band so a a faster roll-off can be achieved. Like wise the phase ripple introduces a group delay ripple, so that is the trade off.
